From what I saw of the Lions versus the Giants the last two years, Detroit practiced with a different intensity instilled by Campbell and Glenn for sure.
Excited to see what an Aaron Glenn training camp is going to look like, Think it’ll be far more intense, Actual direction, More hitting and feel as much like an old school summer as you can get away with in today’s NFL. I think that’s a good thing if you’re a Jets fan.

Darren Waller dominated training camp for the Giants two summers ago. Not sure I've seen an offensive player as dominant in practice on this beat, although Malik Nabers had his moments last year. Then Waller popped up on final injury report before season opener. It was over.

Since there appears to have been some confusion:. There are no conditions in the Darren Waller trade related to the 2026 sixth round pick the Giants are receiving from the Dolphins, per sources. The contingency is attached to the 2027 seventh rounder Giants would send to Miami.

The only way to look at this from Giants’ perspective moving forward: they just got a sixth round pick next year for a guy that has not been in their plans since last June. Any sunk cost prior to that is not washed away. Just a lesson learned.
Somehow Giants got a 6th for a guy who told a listening audience recently he decided to retire at halftime of a game in October 2023 - 8 months before he actually did retire. Waller gave the Giants a great month - August. Some was out of his control. Not all.
