If “getting over the hump” means beating UGA or Bama, then 99% of programs in CFB would never get over the hump. Stoops has won big games but aren’t labeled as so due to it being Kentucky & playing spoiler to someone’s season. No matter how good UK is/was that year.

Trinity coach Rick Arnold just got in a shouting match with someone in the Male dugout between innings. He had to be held back by an umpire. The benches cleared for a moment, but cooler heads ultimately prevailed. As if this rivalry need any extra excitement!

Which is a big reason why a change had to be made. There was no real emphasis on winning games for Kentucky anymore. NBA draft night trumped all. Hard to play for the name on the front of the jersey when the whole recruiting pitch is based on how quick UK can get you to the NBA.

Nope. You can’t encourage people to get reeled into this mess again. This has to be over. 5 years straight he’s had chances to fix it, & has failed each time. Lots of coaches would be able to recruit at a high level at Kentucky, & would win more with even slightly less talent.

This is an unserious basketball operation. Our HC refuses to make easy adjustments, start/play his best 5, & cut his rotation down. It’s March & nothing has changed. We’ve had 4-5 losses this year that were all preventable, but our HC is arrogant & refuses to put Kentucky first.
