So many interesting tidbits in this chart about the duo of Nate & Cale. Of 4019:15 of 5v5 TOI, one or both were on the ice for 1865:26 (46%). Their GF% was identical when not on the ice with the other. The Avs really need the rest of the team to step up next season. #GoAvsGo

And this is why I don't think the Canes can win a Cup unless RBA evolves his coaching POV in regards to Aho's line both 5v5 and on the PP. #RaiseUp.
@AvsCanesFan @emanningwrites The issue is that Rod still has the final say on how the PP works. His game was defense first. As a HC, he’s still defense first. Leopard/tiger, yadda,yadda, yadda.

Granted, the scoring stats don't indicated level of competition when the goals were scored, but it's a safe bet that many/most of them were against other teams' top players. Btw, MacK logged 1348:40 at 5v5 while Aho was on the ice for 1,074:02. Source: Natural Stat Trick.

I'm going to be very interested in seeing how the Avs build the PP1 system next season with both MacK & Necas on it from the get-go. They seem to overlap quite a bit. #GoAvsGo
