DAY FOUR: MURAL COMPLETED!. I’ve had a fantastic time painting my mural for @BBCSpringwatch . Why did I choose these species?. I chose these five animals to represent the unique range of habitats found at #Arne, and to make a coherent design with a nice balance of colour. 1/6

Synthetic chemicals in the environment are causing more damage than we can imagine, to us too. .
Ibuprofen can affect fish hatching, diclofenac impacts fish livers, flea treatments kill off the insects fish & birds eat - a cocktail of meds, pesticides, cleaning products, road runoff is poisoning our rivers - no wonder fish numbers are plummeting.

Pesticides lethal to aquatic life, and dog owners mostly blissfully unaware of the damage being caused. .
Our latest research shows spot-on flea treatments on dogs are released into water when dogs swim even 28 days after treatment - in contrast to the label which suggests dogs can safely swim 48 h after treatment.
