According to @DaleVince 16 months is not enough time for labour to improve the economy. However, 6 months is plenty of time for Reform to sort out council finances.
Reform were elected barely six months ago and promised to cut costs and cut taxes. They’ve failed to do either and now, one by one, the council’s they run are planning tax increases. Half a dozen have already announced the maximum allowable 5%. Welcome to reality guys, where

Just bought superman on Blu-ray and I have to say, @JamesGunn failed miserably. This is just a Guardians knock off for DC just as he did with suicide squad. Throw a bunch of characters on screen, have no storyline, no plot and add comedy. It's poor with no second watch appeal.

We have elected MP's like @KarlTurnerMP who preside over laws they themselves don't understand and then try and use that lack of knowledge to support a fellow MP whose broken the law.
How it works. The agent finds suitable tenant. Probes references. CCJ’s et al. Secures tenant. Collects deposits, rents. Applies relevant local authority licenses (if requires) Pays client straight into account showing all deductions. That’s how it’s done. Stop talking daft.

Will @RachelReevesMP be on this list?
Good news! Labour's new Renters' Rights Act, passed on Monday, will include a new database of landlords to help tenants identify anyone who has previously broken the law. https://t.co/XnBtncQ3EJ

Pathetic by @bmay yet again. Apparently he is ok with our elected officials breaking the laws they both implement and campaign for.
This Reeves stuff is precisely why tons of us don’t go into politics. You could literally put the wrong bin out and find the Daily Mail on your doorstep within hours. Much of our political media seem to think journalism is just oscillating between court jester and vulture.

Gosh, this is almost as bad as the issues Labour’s had with the Corruption Minister, Housing Minister, Transport Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, the US Ambassador, that time David Lammy went fishing without a licence, all the freebies, the China Spy scandal…
🚨 NEW: Chancellor Rachel Reeves has admitted to breaking housing regulations after unlawfully renting out her family home for £3,200 a month without a licence after moving in to No 11 She has tonight referred herself to the Independent Ethics Adviser [@HarriLine]

I find it hilarious that @JohnRentoul is defending a person whose campaigned for landlord licences, known landlord licences have been in place since 2004, welcomed Leeds councils expansion of landlord licences, admitted it was her fault and illegally took rent for 13 months.

Rachel Reeves should know better – she must go. I’ve been a landlord for 26 years, a managing agent for 23, Past President of ARLA Propertymark, and a trainer for the London Landlord Accreditation Scheme for 21. Even if a letting agent is involved, the law is crystal clear.

She broke the law, took rent illegally for 13 months and yet she hasn't breached the ministerial code. How does that work?

Any answers @lb_southwark?
Renting out a property without the necessary selective licence in Southwark constitutes a criminal offence. Under section 95 of the Housing Act 2004, operating a licensable property without a licence is punishable by prosecution in a magistrates' court, where penalties can

This £900m handout goes directly to the energy companies, the same energy companies that will put up their prices to cover this cost as it doesn't come from taxation.
We’re determined to tackle energy affordability for families. This winter, nearly 6 million households will receive £150 off their energy bills through the Warm Home Discount. If you're eligible, look out for a letter telling you what to do next. 👉 https://t.co/reHcgs4DOA

A week ago wind fans were boasting that it was making 60% of our electricity. But now its only 2%. With exactly the same equipment. Its just 1/30th of what it was. Just illustrates that wind is fickle and unfit to power a modern society They ain't boasting so much today!

The UK government has banned it's officials from using Chinese made cars such as BYD due to spyware concerns within the cars software. The same government is however happy for you to have one of these cars. China is a recognised threat to the UK, so why fund a threat?

Just read this study from @braincomms and nowhere in the study do they define unvaccinated. What the study does show is that the majority of the 30 participants had a COVID vaccine and yet the vaccine itself was ruled out as a possible cause, the question is why that is?
