Today I am in Lviv to deliver material assistance to Ukrainian citizens organized by the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland and @PolandMFA 🇵🇱🤝🇺🇦. Since the outbreak of the war, we organized and sent from 🇵🇱 to 🇺🇦 dozens of transports with material aid.

#OTD on 18 Aug 1944, Squadron Leader Eugeniusz Horbaczewski, CO of the No. 315 🇵🇱 Fighter Squadron, was shot down and killed. He was a 🇵🇱 #FighterAce with 16.5 confirmed kills, who was awarded several decorations, including the Virtuti Militari & the Distinguished Flying Cross.
