I am ashamed to say that I have never ordered or attempted to order a double hospital bed. I completely agree that this is something very important that is overlooked because of assumptions made.
@theRCOT @RCOT_NP I think about this often. We have such a big impact on family life, relationships and home with our rules and processes. Do any areas consider provision of double beds for those wanting to continue to sleep with their partner?

This was how I picked up my Parkinson’s..a simple case of noticing my handwriting had gotten really small when writing in my patients dietetic record card. What was really weird at the time was that I couldn’t make it bigger. So I asked my GP for a referral to a neurologist…
