Getting my @2GoCup_org coffee before @LimerickCouncil budget meeting 2022. It’s always challenging to get anything through as the only @SocDems rep on Council. However, this year I have requested the budgeting of free period products to be available in all Council building 💜

It's always okay to talk about your time of the month. The more we talk about periods and menstrual health, the more people can understand what is normal/abnormal about their bodies. End the stigma.
Always astounds me how girls are so comfortable in this day and to talk about when it's their time of the month lol

This, of course, includes access to period products. Periods are often not thought about. Purchasing food or other essentials are bought over period products. Period products are also essential.
Migrant women are more likely to be on lower-incomes, living in relative poverty. In this situation, contraception and health in general often takes a back seat due to cost and lack of access- Tonya Myles @CairdeIreland #EveryWoman
