I can’t express how much it means to finally build meaningful connections with fellow Malians in the UK — who share the same passion for contributing to positive change back home. I truly felt seen, supported, and inspired 💛

It was the greatest honour to connect with my motherland here in the UK for the very first time in person. I had the privilege of attending the visit of the Ambassador of Mali 🇲🇱 and meeting the newly appointed Honorary Consulate for the UK. One people, one goal, one faith ✊🏾

Marking ten years of coercive control legislation this week. Growing up, I had no language for the abuse in my home. This law gave me the words to finally speak out and free my mum, but our systems still need to learn how to see what so many children live through.

As a lived-experience expert @safelives_ @amourdestine I called on all Member States to remove barriers stopping migrant survivors from accessing healthcare. When we remove these barriers, we don’t just improve services; we create life-saving opportunities to save lives.
