Red Flag#5: Star Cement, a regular donor, (Rs 5 crore to BJP in 23-24). Earlier this year, the Assam govt & the cement giant signed an MoU, for a Rs 3,200-crore cement clinker project. It had also donated to Trinamool Cong & Congress parties as "it does not discriminate". 10/n

Then there also was a businessman from East Siang in Arunachal Pradesh, Samson Borang, who donated Rs 4.3 cr to the BJP in '23-24. He owns a firm that won contracts from Arunachal PWD & NHPC. The firm was named in a case seeking contract records amid corruption fears. 9/n
