If you live in San Francisco and want to make sure we keep R&D and laboratories legal in the city and in the Mission (uh wish I was joking but this is serious) You need to email your supervisor today šŸ‘‡

Some people asked me for text. You probably don’t want to use my text, because I am an unhinged person, but if you’re curious, here it is: ā€œSupervisor Mandelman, I am a resident and homeowner in D8 (Noe Valley) and an investor in early stage deep tech here in San Francisco,

BREAKING: Apple’s chip chief Johny Srouji informed CEO Tim Cook he is seriously considering leaving the company and would likely continue his career elsewhere rather than retire. Apple is urgently pushing to keep him. He remains at least for now.

Biggest takeaway from the Quantum Bitcoin Summit this week: the fear and uncertainty about quantum computing may very well be a greater threat than quantum computing itself. We should strive to create more certainty around how Bitcoin would respond to such a threat if it arises.

"I promise to not raise your taxes" and "I promise to not cut your benefits" are the two popular political promises that are inconsistent with the much more needed promise "I promise to cut the budget deficit to about 3 percent of GDP" that is required to prevent a big

Every member of Congress who campaigned on reducing government spending and then immediately voted for the biggest debt increase in history should hang their head in shame! And they will lose their primary next year if it is the last thing I do on this Earth.

Liquid Glass will take two iOS versions to get right. And it won’t ship like this bc it’s an accessibility nightmare.

I don’t get why the state of Siri and Apple Intelligence isn’t a five alarm fire at Apple. Siri is astonishingly bad. Even setting a timer is a roll of the dice. It’s such a stain on the Apple brand.

If I drink caffeine and go for a walk my Apple Watch counts it as exercise. If I don’t drink caffeine and go for the exact same walk, my watch just registers as movement and not exercise presumably bc caffeine isn’t elevating my heart rate.

Recently I was targeted by an extremely sophisticated phishing attack, and I want to highlight it here. It exploits a vulnerability in Google's infrastructure, and given their refusal to fix it, we're likely to see it a lot more. Here's the email I got:
