We do not have this simple luxury of opening a window for fresh air. Why? Because we are unfortunate enough to live near wood heaters smoking out the neighbourhood. This is both health and mental health issue @LilyDAmbrosioMP @DELWP_Vic @EPA_Victoria

Excellent resource. Local authority advice to “talk to your neighbours” is discriminatory on the grounds of disability. It may not be possible for the most vulnerable to do this. The right to clean air in our own home should not depend on our ability to negotiate with neighbours.

@Steve_Dimo, here’s some advice I got about approaching a #woodburning neighbour: “Whatever you do, don’t mention that you’re a doctor. He’ll just start burning twice as much…” That’s what we’re up against - while @DEECA_Vic, @VicGovEPA & @tanya_plibersek sit on their hands.
