I work in insurance and we’ve been noticing lately that we’ve been getting denials within 10-15 minutes of submitting the auth. No one reviewed the case that fast, they’re absolutely filtering your info through AI to make denying you easier
they want to implement AI for this reason. because degrading yourself begging for your patients life means that the deplorable business agent on the other end might show empathy sometimes. and empathy isnt profitable. rather than streamline the costs they minimize the empathy.
