Great to hear from Sophie & Joel, two adults w/ DLD, about what helps them at work. It's been a privilege (& a learning curve!) setting up the @ClinicUCL adult DLD assessment service this year w/@SimoneSpeechie & @lilacCourt. The no. of referrals shows the need out there! #DLDDay
DLD (developmental language disorder) is difficulty learning and using words and sentences. It emerges in childhood and continues to adulthood. Adults with DLD need support at work too! Let's hear from Sophie and Joel from the UK. It's DLD day this Friday! @RADLDcam #DLDday
