They may not be alone. It may be that Sephiroth/Jenova is interfering with the cycle of life and death (hence the cries). I think there was some dialogue in OTWTAS that Aerith cannot rest while these threats exist, so she holds on to her consciousness like the other Cetra.
@AlphaISMRadio @Solfleet Are able to retain their consciousness (which was a thing since the beginning). Imo the reason why Biggs and Zacl are still retaining their consciousness, is because someone is letting them (either Aerith or Sephiroth), but you could also be right that the "souls" need to travel

So, does this mean that the act of saving Aerith actually *did* happen and is the reason why Aerith is alive in the terrier reality? I do not have all the answers, but I'm thinking the portrayal of Cloud saving Aerith might not been in Cloud's head after all...

... that doesn't really address the question. So, is there's a point where Cloud gets separated from the others? Yes, in Rebirth! Only *he* goes through the portal (that looks identical to the one Aerith created at the end of Remake) that leads to the Forgotten Capital ...

This could be as simple as Tifa turning her over on her back BUT if you watch the scene where Cloud walks up to her and lifts her up (where he says "Aerith, wake up") *backwards* it would perfectly mirror the burial scene 🤔

SubTXT, you are a genius. Someone pointed out that there's a discrepancy between shots of Aerith's body. The first shot is her laying on her side (with Tifa kneeling beside her). The second shot is Aerith laying on her back as Cloud approaches ... 1/2

How Aerith's face comes into view in Remake's intro and how she appears to Cloud at the lake is eerily similar, and the same theme is used though slightly altered in Rebirth. This can't be a coincidence ... can it? @_subtxt_ @ProfNoctis @SixthGen2048 @Schrodingersba4

Is it me or the gap between the Switch 2 and the current gen consoles isn't quite as large as we thought? FF7 Remake Intergrade never made it to PS4 and I've never heard of the PS4 Pro or Xbox One X running any game at 120 fps..

I use both Yubikey and Microsoft Authenticator, and for my email accounts I STRONGLY urge you to remove your phone as a means of recovering passwords. Buy 2 physical tokens, and use an app based Authenticator (like Microsoft's the best in case you lose your phone)
Reminder that SMS-based MFA is much more insecure than other forms due to SIM-swapping attacks. Physical tokens are best (i.e. Yubikeys) but App-based MFA (Authenticator/Authy) is also pretty good.

This. I think the devs added this to counter the "unga-bunga-ness" of SF5 where you just have to "hold dat". It also prevents turtling and slowing down the match to a crawl.
Importantly, this is not one of those braindead moves you just have to try and survive, and you're just glad to get out without taking damage. A win vs DI is 350 damage + drive loss + you get the corner. This reward has to be front and center when talking about the move
