Some of my favorite key features: 🔑 Next-level user authentication, powered by direct-to-carrier SIM authentication, our ML models for thwarting bad actors, Passkeys for seamless login, and our network of trusted devices 📊 You can make sure that only users who have *exactly

1. 📱 You send us your user's phone number when they're signing up for your service. From that, Plaid tells you whether that user is in the Plaid network 2. ⚡ In-network users are given the choice to sign up instantly with Plaid. Layer authenticates the user, and then presents

Junior manager mistake: the goal of a leader isn't to make your team happy It's to make them feel like the company is winning, and that they're contributing to that. Happiness usually follows, but is not the goal in and of itself.

Purely “revenue” or “impact” oriented product management has zero passion for making great things. Your product will always be boring, and your customers will never love what you’ve built

The health of your product and engineering organization is inversely proportional to the time it takes to ship a feature like dark mode

I’m done designing vanilla user interfaces. They’re a solved problem. Easy. Give me SwiftUI Metal shaders, 3D spaces, and mix-blend-mode textures with lighting effects

The concept of having people at your company who are very competent and have 0 fear of being fired is extremely underrated. There’s a reason they can get so much more done than those who are optimizing for optics

Every company needs 2-3 senior+ engineers who have fuck you money or just have 0 fear of getting fired. Then when the architect or tech fellow or whoever unveil their new plan, those engineers unmute to say wtf is this, we're not moving everything into Lambda, are you high???

Most product managers are painfully mid. The only PMs who break out exhibit at least one of the following: - Design ability - Coding skills - Deep GTM execution skills - 99th percentile taste Otherwise, they’re destined for a career of filling out Google Docs

Competent people just want to do great work. Keeping incompetent people around isn't just neutral, it signals to the competent people that their distinguished effort isn't appreciated and will naturally drive them out

We handle everything from allowing users to add multiple IDs to their account (have a drivers license and a passport?), to updating their details if they move. And then we secure it behind the best anti-fraud tech available https://t.co/sbtmNyMEB3

We do a lot of neat fraud checks on the backend to ensure the SMS auth in Remember Me is secure: • SIM swapping and account takeover detection • Device fingerprinting to check device reuse • Activity checks to see if the phone line is still active

This feature is deceptively simple. Under the hood we do a lot to make this seamless for businesses + users without requiring *any integration or process changes required* for either party. It's an order of magnitude improvement on the ID verification experience.

After a decade (literally) of me bugging the hell out of everyone I met who worked at @Plaid to build this I am SO happy to see it go live. Even if people don't realize it yet, this is big, and its a huge win for consumers. Congrats @zachperret

Really excited to share Plaid "Remember Me." With this new feature, customers can store their identity with Plaid and reuse it anywhere else Plaid is used for identity verification. Cuts verification time down by 50% and significantly improves conversion!
