@DTheKingpin
Not sure but could be talking about my grandfather's 333rd Batallion who had a good kill ratio at the Battle of the Bulge before they were captured. While being marched to the POW camp 11 of them escaped but we're captured, tortured, and killed by SS. Look up "Wereth 11" movie.
@mollypriddy
My sister did the same for me 16 years ago. My blood is now officially female if tested. I used to joke that I can go commit crimes and they would be looking for her. She didn't find that funny, she's an attorney.
@robbystarbuck
A large percentage of Black Californians have a modified southern accent. Their roots are in Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, and nearby states. Same in Chicago and most Midwest cities. You would have to know everyday Black people from these areas to recognize it.
It was all good when he was rewriting Black American history to fit his agenda. But he is now getting cooked in the comments by his own supporters for claiming ancient Rome had Arab and Black emporers. He crossed that sacred line.
“Racism” didn’t really exist in ancient Rome. Emperors were white, black, Arab, didn’t matter. The color of your skin was like the color of your eyes. *Citizenship* is the distinction they drew. It wasn’t just about what you got in return, it was about your duty to your nation.

She graduated high school from South Forsyth County in 1992. This video is from Forsyth County in 1987 and explains a lot about her environment.
@Angry_Staffer
Do you think Twitter/X will ever be replaced by most current users? A lot of us don't like what's happening under Elon Musk but we have to face the fact that it is still a great social media platform and addictive as ever.
@notcapnamerica
This looks like one of those apartment complexes with garages in suburban Texas. This type of thing happens all of the time. Usually in situations like this, or food and Amazon deliveries. It's annoying but not worth all that drama.
@GuntherEagleman
Black Republicans wrote the Christian hymn "Lift Every Voice" 120 years ago in honor of Abraham Lincoln. It's nickname has been the Negro/Black National Anthem since the 1920s. Made in America and inherently AMERICAN!
@VivekGRamaswamy
Yet Black people had guns in Tulsa, Rosewood, and the massacre of Black soilders in LA. Black people had guns in the rural South in the 1950s and still couldn't vote. 2A by itself did not secure rights. We know that. Our families knew that. Who are you really trying to convince?
@AmiriKing
Ummmm....
Half the people on Twitter weren't even alive when those lyrics came out.
The other half never heard them.
That's why you're not currently seeing outrage about 1990s rap lyrics.
Your welcome.
@EM_RESUS
This was one of my last thoughts before I flat-lined. I couldn't say it because I couldn't breath. It was my second to last memory. My last memory was feeling someone come behind me and I thought "they are trying to save me". I blacked out and woke up the next morning. Praise God
@notcapnamerica
When I worked in call center management back I'm the 90s I called it the "money voice" skill set. This was especially true when commissions were involved.
@LizzieCosmos
My brief time at a high school in Georgia, a self described "Good Ole Boy" American history teacher stopped class to ensure us that the Civil War had absolutely nothing to do with slavery. And grew angry when challenged about it. I found his passion very interesting. The last…

Many Africans who came on slave ships were from agrarian societies. They headed cattle and farmed rice, grains, and vegetables with iron tools made by blacksmiths and woodworkers before being loaded in slave ships here is a peek into that history:
@ScottAdamsSays
If the Biden family is guilty of using his position to get rich off foreign nationals which we all know the Trump family also did, maybe neither should be eligible to run. We can start with a clean and younger slate on both sides.
@MeshaMainor
It's one thing to "not want" to be a Democrat anymore, but an entirely different thing to "want" to be a Republican.
Two things can be true at the same time.
@KeneAkers
Facts.
Atlanta was the first place I felt comfortable at all levels and where I began to understand how White people feel in most of America. I've lived there 3 times. And it has a nice skyline.
Look at the skyline in the background and guess what part of ATL I took this Pic?
@ProfJeffries
1st album was a crossover masterpiece.
I was in high school in Rochester NY at the time.
1. The Black radio station played Paul Revere, Posse in Effect, and Brass Monkey
2. White radio stations played No Sleep til Brooklyn and Fight for Your Right.
@DeSantisWarRoom
Why would he want to rename an American military facility for a Confederate general who had a reputation for losing battles and who many Confederates blamed for losing the war? Talk about participation trophy.
Sounds pretty woke to me....
Go Desantis!
@Joe__Bassey
Judging from some of the comments here, some people enjoy degrading Black people. It's what they must do to make them feel better about themselves. If only they had something else to.
This from an African American perspective:
📢 In 1807, the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade came to an end, making international slave trade illegal. Despite this, slavery continued to grow within the US. By 1820, 1.5 million of the 1.7 million African Americans in the country were enslaved, largely in the Atlantic states &…

It is a Black child being beat in the video. A 15 year old Black child, not 12. Matt is not telling the truth. This was just to get a reaction, and it worked.
@GuntherEagleman
We know. Many of our families were once Republican.
Now imagine when Republicans find out that that Southern Republicans and Democrats both voted against Civil Rights legislation. -History 102

Spent 3 years at varsity football games through rural texas and D2 games in TX and Arkansas . All stood but most didn't sing. That is normal actually. Are we moving the goalposts now?

Do yourself a favor and get this book in audio. Hear the first hand account of Cudjo growing up in Africa, being attacked and captured by Dehomey, and ending up a slave in Alabama. It's written in his vernacular which is why I recommend the audio version. You won't regret it...

After the Great Depression, millions of African Americans began escaping the Jim Crow South again. More than 5 million African Americans moved to cities in the North and on the West Coast in what is known as the Second Great Migration.
This migration tended to follow along the…

I'm writing about the pre-colonial Igbo now. Very interesting history. They believed deeply in freedom and individual rights. Slavery was outlawed in most of Igboland for centuries. It was a land of democracies where someone could work hard and choose their own destiny.

And no, I admit, I'm 51 years old and not familiar with that word. I said what I thought I heard and thought I was giving her a compliment. Thanks to those who explained.

Today, there are no neighborhoods with an average rent within the limits of the median income of a Black family in the city of Greenville, South Carolina.
@KaliFontanilla
White Supremacy is the belief and practice that White people are superior and Black people are inferior.
Black Supremacy seems to be a term used for the Black struggle to become equal despite being considered inferior.
One of these is not actual "Supremacy"
Guess which one?

Tupac and I were the samr age. Since he died I've been divorced and married again for (23 years next week), had two kids, survived leukemia, and about to watch my youngest graduate high school and oldest about to finish college. At 25 I was still getting drunk and being stupid...

DEI shares the same problem that AA had. It gives people an excuse to disregard Black achievement. It’s a no-win situation. In the 90s as a manager of a satellite office, there was a rumor floating around corporate HQ that I hated White people because all of the supervisors I…

Wow! I've been there several times. That's one of the top suburbs everyone moves to... In other words any type of shootings are rare. His training and instincts kicked right in. God bless him.
The only other times I see Allen police in the news is when they join a car chase.
