Several articles have been published at @NaturePortfolio/@Nature on mental health deterioration amongst PhD and postdocs,eg https://t.co/fCLNNwT9c1, https://t.co/p0QSwa7dJ7 This has been well known for too long now, which makes the lack of Academia's response even more concerning

#depression is a beast, a huge one During holidays, weekends, days that you're expected to "have fun" it hits hard I'm not sure whether it helps or not, just felt like reminding that no matter how lonely, no matter how low, blue, sad, it is okay, and it will eventually get better

In my opinion, one of the key points in life, is to acknowledge change and to adapt accordingly. It is okay decaying in some ways, you might find a way in growing along other directions. Just remember to pause, observe, revaluate, proceed #BeKind #KeepCalm

In 2022, I had a major brain surgery, then a stroke & then a second (also major) brain surgery This process,other than long+painful,also costed me brain function that I used to have+enjoy Take home message:there isn't a single skill of yours that it's not to be enjoyed & praised
