Today we celebrated retired Deputy Tommy Berry by naming a new pocket park in Precinct 2 in his honor. We’re grateful for his service as Precinct 2's Harris County Sheriff’s Office Liaison to protect our residents.

Deputy Berry was a great member of the @HarrisCoPct2 family and helped me to improve the #NuisanceAbatement process! In June 2022 I was able to get $3m to help fund 1,000 nuisance sites over 4yrs. Many neighborhoods have benefited as a result of his work on this issue! 👮🏼♂️🙏🏼😊🇺🇸
One of his major efforts included addressing nuisance issues to keep our neighborhoods safe including an abandoned lot in the Royalwood neighborhood.

Honoring Ret. Deputy Berry! Today, @AdrianGarciaHTX, @HarrisCoPct2, & neighbors dedicated a new pocket park in District 3. Berry served 41 years & first proposed this park. His vision is now a reality at 13310 Edgeboro St. Thanks to Precinct 2 for this honor.
