On July 6, 2019, Deputy Omar Moreno Diaz was on duty, assisting at a scene of an assault, and fell ill. He was taken to a hospital, where he died. Deputy Diaz joined our agency in 2009 as a Detention Officer. He became a Deputy in August 2018. Gone but never forgotten.
