South Central officers are at a shooting scene 3500 Mcllheney. Armed robbery resulted in an exchange of gunfire. Indications are one suspect was struck and officers are checking the area. 202

UPDATE: HPD officers and @TxDPS troopers arrested two drivers for DWI and issued 460 citations for moving and non-moving traffic violations. A stolen vehicle was also recovered and the 17-year-old male driver was arrested for unlawful carry of a weapon. #HouNews.
Last night, Mayor Whitmire joined Police Chief Diaz for night two of the joint Downtown Traffic Initiative conducted by @houstonpolice and @TxDPS. It targeted illegal street racing, loud vehicle noise, and other traffic violations that impact safety and quality of life.
