Saddened to learn the news of @RepJoeCasello passing. A retired firefighter himself, Joe was one of the first outspoken supporters of the 1st bill I filled, “9/11 Heroes’ Day” and helped us pass the legislation with unanimous bipartisan support. He was a strong, kind and always.
Sad news: Democrat @RepJoeCasello has suffered a massive heart attack. According to an email from the Palm Beach leg. delegation, "Despite the tireless efforts of his medical team, the damage to his heart was extensive, and unfortunately he is not expected to recover."
