Today marks @NUHPrehab 3rd birthday!!๐ ๐Since we launched we have supported over 1600 patients prepare for surgery๐ช๐ง ๐ฒToday we also opened to referrals for lung cancer patients starting radical radiotherapy, a cohort of patients we have long aspired to support. @AbiBurrows1

Prehab is such an important part of the perioperative pathway and should not be underestimated. It has an impact on our patients, the Trust and across the ICS in regards population health. Supporting and facilitating people to take back control. ๐ช.
โThe service saved my life.โ Cancer patient thanks hospital Prehabilitation Team following major surgery. Helene Trabuc, who was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer in June 2023, credits her Prehab sessions to helping her recover after major surgery.
