This should be front page news. We have effective medicines for asthma - the most common reason for childhood hospitalization - & kids don’t have access to them anymore. Because of business decisions made by companies. And kids are literally unnecessarily suffering & dying.

This changes everything. 20 years after proof of concept for anti-IgE in food allergy, we now have an available treatment. Extremely proud of the 10 teams around the country who did this work, and incredibly grateful to the brave participants.

Very proud! The @EAACI_HQ guidelines on the diagnosis of IgE mediated food allergy have been published - for the first time IgE to allergen components and activation test are part of the list of recommended tests. Thank you to all the experts who contributed too many to name here
