Like many others, I have decided it is time for me to move away from X. It’s been a great 10 years. Instagram will be my focus for now - also @AllergyKidsDoc I’m not deactivating & will likely post periodically from meetings, etc I wish you all the best out here🙏

There are so many variables & individual factors that will alter anaphylaxis management for each person This fits with how we've adopted an individualized approach to #foodallergy Change is hard, especially when evidence contradicts prior beliefs. But progress is good. 😀

- Shared decision making surrounding anaphylaxis will be a major component of new guidance...requires long personal conversations with one's own doctor: - Food allergies are a spectrum & not everyone requires an epinephrine prescription - Use of epi doesn't = automatic ER visit

-Universal risk factors for fatal #foodallergy reactions are very hard to identify due to the rare nature of this outcome -Biphasic reactions are less common than previously believed (~5%) -2 or more doses of epinephrine are needed for reactions less than we used to think (~7%)
