I've never had to say farewell to a train that I have worked with in my career before... Yesterday was something really special. Goodbye 455s ❤️💙🧡 It was great to meet a lot of people, including our very own @apjackson75

And that's a wrap! 455712 & 455719 bought us back to Waterloo to seal off what has been an epic day! Too many people to mention i saw today but particularly thanks to @AR02_K, @Sam82767021, @ZainOnSWR & @TR9trainspoting for joining!

And THAT was my final Class 455. That was purely beautiful. Also my first ever solo worked unit on my final ever 455 run. They're truly special, goodbye ❤️💙🧡❤️💙🧡

What'll likely be my last shot of a 455 in regular service... 5737/721 ride off into the sunset as its replacement pulls into Clapham Junction.

With not much more than a week left in regular service today was my last chance for a few rides and pics of the @SW_Help Class 455s, with four pairs in traffic. Another ex-BR type that has served us well but will be bowing out with two farewell trips planned for next Sunday

Not a fan 🙃 Modernised Versions of Intercity/Regional Railways/Network SE should have been more the idea in my opinion. 🤷
Tomorrow the new blue, red & white GBR livery & brand will be launched. The new design will be displayed on digital displays at a number of stations. The DfT says the livery will appear across already publicly owned train operators from spring, with roll-out being gradual. 📷DfT
