A legend - totally sharp and dedicated right till the end, and a generous source of sound advice, Frances will be much missed by the residents of Parsons Green and Walham, whom she served for over three decades.
Former Mayor, Frances Stainton sadly passed away last Friday. Frances was a much-loved councillor first representing Walham, and later Parsons Green & Walham. During her 32 year council career she served twice as Mayor, as Chief Whip and twice in the Cabinet. (1/2)

People aren’t thick. They know what good looks like, what bad looks like, and what not good enough looks like. Lots of London is patently not good enough. It’s not “doing down our city” to point that out. Low expectations damage us all. We can do better.

Good walkabout with our Law Enforcement Team today in Parsons Green. An abandoned car and some rather choice graffiti bring down the area. Small things but we need to get them right: taking pride in one's area should be the bedrock of conservatism.
