The inaugural meeting of the APPG for Events will take place on Tuesday 5th November, 10.00am in Room C at 1 Parliament Street. All parliamentary members who wish to show their support for the world leading £61 billion event sector are encouraged to attend. admin@appgevents.org.

New rules for All Party Parliamentary Groups have been agreed by the House of Commons. The rules, which come into effect on 1st Oct, have been put in place to improve transparency and reduce the risk of foreign influence. Read more about the changes here -

Thank you to those attended the @APPGEvents AGM today and to @IoWBobSeely @robertlargan @alexsobel @baynes_simon @JonesyFay Mark Menzies for being elected as Vice Chairs and to Theresa Villiers being re-elected as Chair. We will publish our 2022 Plan of Work in the coming days.

The first AGM of the @appgevents of this Parliament will take place on Monday 7th February, where we will confirm the Vice Chairs and Officers and discuss and agree the key areas of focus for 2022 and how these can continue to support the recovery of the entire UK events sector.
