No one should have to sleep on the streets, be stuck in temp accommodation or go from one sofa to the next. The government has just confirmed @TelfordWrekin is getting an uplift of just under £510,000; with a total Homelessness Prevention Grant allocation of around £1,136,000.

Yesterday I visited the Royal Mail in Telford to thank our amazing posties during their busiest time of year. Tomorrow, they'll handle 3,000 parcels—their busiest day ever. Big thanks to Pete & Brian for the tour & for sharing the insights into the delivery office.

Today a £100 million boost for adult and children’s hospices & £26 million to support children and young people’s hospices has been announced. In Telford @severnhospice and @HHTGhospices will be among those set to benefit. This is a massive first step, after 14 difficult years.

This is a major vote of confidence in the UK It’s good for jobs, good for national security and good for all parts of the UK I’m pleased workers at Harland & Wolff can enjoy Christmas safe in the knowledge their jobs are secure for the long term

This is the price of Tory failure. Labour has a plan to clean up our rivers, lakes and seas, for good.
