On this day 2015 our @gardarep colleague Garda Tony Golden was killed on duty. Shortly after 6.00pm Garda Golden left Omeath Garda Station, in uniform & unarmed to help a victim…he never returned…we must always remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice #LestWeForget

“It’s an unsettling time in An Garda Sìochàna and we are currently in a dispute. The job is challenging. Morale is at a low level. At the moment we are at such a state of disarray around Rosters. We await a response from Justice Minister and the National Executive meet tomorrow.

Remembering today our @AGSI_Ireland colleague Sergeant John Joseph Brennan who died on duty on this day in 1982…Sgt Brennan was travelling from Ballymore Eustace towards Naas when he was involved in a collision..he was seriously injured and died a short time later #LestWeForget
