Extreme centrist. The only thing worse than the Democratic party is the Republican party. If there are no typos in a given Tweet, I had someone proofread it.

Thanks to the absolute lack of backbone that most of our SF Supervisors have this historic structure shall remain!! We certainly do not want this beautiful piece of art replaced by something as silly as people's homes. Housing is a human right, unless you block Peskin's views.

Drugs are bad. Hunter Biden, admitted he’s roughly $15 million in debt with no plan to pay it off. https://t.co/wj6PO8EfNR

Hunter, now 55, blamed Obama’s staff for forcing him to start back at “square one” because they were concerned about conflicts of interest in his domestic lobbying work, using a new 5 ½-hour...

@ArmandDoma @matthewstoller @pitdesi @LeeHepner The problem is, and always has been, rent control is untethered from tenant need and the opportunity cost between rent co trol rents and market rents is paid for not by us collectively, but by individual property owners--making the policy the poster child of tyranny of the

@KimChiSpicey @96hoya @grok SF Progressives have major problems in that they create new programs with good intentions that rarely take into consideration secondary effects. When problems become very apparent, rather than pivot to fix the issues, they push back denying there are problems

Lee Hepner famously worked for SF Supervisor Aaron Peskin who killed tens of thousands of housing units so he could maintain his views And created a doom loop of pro crime, anti education policy that almost destroyed SF It’s a joke Lee Hepner works in economics policy 🤡
@matthewstoller @LeeHepner Your friend Lee stopped the “I have the math” point when he realized the math wasn’t mathing and shifted to a moral obligation of a landlord.

Here is a picture taken on December 19th, 2015 at Nordstroms Westfield Mall in San Francisco. This must have been before we had the internet.

In hindsight, I wonder if maybe allowing people to steal whatever they wanted might have been damaging to San Francisco's downtown economy. https://t.co/NUVAsHvES8

I love that the people that went hardest to get Zohran elected are now speaking up against him so that people do not blame Socialism when things get worse.
Oh I fully believe that in 3 years when Zohran is seeking reelection and avg rents have gone above $7k, as they are on track to, many of my dsa comrades will reevaluate attaching themselves to a housing “solution” that requires the rents to rise to stimulate development.

This is the correct take. Criticize the company for what happened, but also thank the front line workers for their efforts to fix it.
Today’s PG&E outage was deeply harmful. So many small businesses & events shut down + traffic gridlock & disruption. We’ll deal with what happened & accountability. For now, I’m grateful to the PG&E frontline workers spending their Saturday night getting the lights back on.

A well-thought-out thread on a poorly conceived idea.
A proposed "2026 Billionaire Tax Act" (“BTA”) will impose a 1-time, 5% tax on the net worth of individuals & some trusts with at least $1 bln in net assets who are CA residents or part‑year residents as of 01/01/26. You think a few huge taxpayers might leave CA now? 🧵1/8

Great news, we now have legislation saying that you can't do donuts in intersections. In all seriousness, thank you @DannySauter and @SFPD. What we need is people to know it is nearly certain that they will be caught.
Wednesday, I signed Supervisor @DannySauter’s legislation to crack down on dangerous sideshows that put our communities at risk. By increasing penalties for this illegal activity and strengthening @SFPD enforcement, we’re sending a clear message that public safety comes first in

I recently got the opportunity to meet Garry Tan, and I have to say it made me question whether he is really a fascist. As someone who is repeatedly called a fascist on here, I feel like I am qualified to judge.

Historically which group has been more negatively impacted by policy applied in San Francisco?

I kind of expected the fired part, I am surprised to hear about the arrested part. Now can we could start arresting vagrants when they do the same thing?
The drunk woman seen in the San Francisco restaurant squabble has been arrested and fired from her job. Details: https://t.co/Pdm81R4ScE

This was the skyline when the Empire State Building was completed:
Should San Francisco allow a 25 story apartment tower to be built on top of the Marina Safeway? Probably not. I'm as YIMBY as they come. But 25 stories in a neighborhood where everything is 3 to 4 stories seems excessive. 🧵

Former Supervisor @DeanPreston, who has a net worth in the 8 figure range (all inherited) wants to make sure that San Francisco does not become a playground for the rich. You really can't make this stuff up. https://t.co/VrO5yCVDYF
