It shouldn't matter what age you are. No one needs an AR-15 or any other assault weapon designed to massacre people. When we had an assault weapons ban from 1994-2004, mass shootings went down 43%. After it expired, mass shootings tripled. End the filibuster. Ban assault weapons.

Gov. Abbott says he doesn’t want to raise the age to buy an AR-15 because an 18 year old could buy a rifle since Texas first became a state. An 18 year old could also buy a black person when Texas first became a state too. Abbott appears to be stuck in 1845.

Disenfranchising voters is a two-pronged attack: 1. You prevent some people from voting by making it harder or impossible. 2. You prevent others from voting by making it more likely that they feel like voting doesn't matter.
