Then quality beats quantity. We’ve been brainwashed to think it can’t be the consumer that tangibly benefits. This is a fallacy.

if you say you're ambitious, but you don't have a body of work you can point at, you should STFU and build the body of work first. even if it's a bunch of notes and drafts and crappy prototypes or whatever. code your apps, write your plays and poems. I will die on this hill.

I cant get over this. I'm trying to opt-out of Meta training AI on my Instagram photos. I followed the MAZE of buried pages trying to get to the AI opt-out page, and when I'm finally done, finish 2-Factor Auth, the page just gives me an error! All fields are filled!
I want to scream from the rooftops. The process of "opting out" of meta training AI on your photos a hidden setting, but you can't even opt out UNLESS you have linked your Facebook account to Instagram!!!

The true threat of AI generated content is not that it will convince us to believe things that aren't true, it's that we won't believe anything unless it reinforces what we already think is true, or we'll just disengage completely because the truth seems impossible to find.
