I found a channel on YouTube of a girl who just lives in a small town, doing normal small town things, and I haven’t related with an “influencer” this much in so long. Like yeah, it’s cool watching people travel and live all over the world, but I love watching normal everyday
influencer culture is dying, partly bc it’s draining to scroll and be reminded of a life you’ll probably never live, and i think that’s why so many people are shifting to writing, books, blogs and substack, if you’re going to have an audience, at least let it be one that reads.
