The broke city's guide to traffic calming: old concrete pipe filled with dirt are one the cheapest yet most effective ways to turn any resident intersection into a mini roundabout! Near impossible to speed through the intersection, and doesn't negatively impact pedestrians!

Remember when the Streets Dept. said that the rock flower planters in the @19125Roundabout needed to be removed then people just ignored them they just never bothered to fix it? I think about that a lot.

The whole thing with @19125Roundabout and the rocks was about whether gigantic trucks would be able to make the turn without driving over the middle. But what if we could decide democratically we don’t want that size of truck on the streets at all…

@phltransitguy @bencogeo I cross streets at @19125Roundabout at least once a day and its so much easier/safer than before. And despite having to ~*slow down*~ its still faster to get through the intersection when in a vehicle. A+
