Bizarre times we live in: Israel apparently does an attack for pure symbolic reasons (almost like doing it for social media likes) and its result is destruction of Evin's infirmary and making things worse for the political prisoners there.
The winner of Nobel Peace Prize in Iran says Israel’s attack on Evin prison in Tehran has created a horrific situation for inmates. The jail’s hospital/clinic has been destroyed, injured prisoners are not being attended to and the regime is blocking families from getting news.

Whatever the ultimate outcome, Trump has owned the Iran file and subsequent events since his breaking of the JCPOA in 2018. To suggest otherwise, or linking the nuclear deal to Oct 7, is just shameless.
They claimed that a nuclear deal was the only way to avoid total war with Iran. In reality, that deal incentivized & augmented Iran's malign actions - nuclear & otherwise - culminating in October 7 & Iran's growing nuclear weapons program. 2/

In this retelling, the war drums that have been played for to the rubes for decades ("religious fanatics that will nuke Isreal first chance they get and happily sacrifice themselves") becomes "non-obvious that they couldn't deploy a tactical nuke due to strategic miscalculations"

@constans That’s true in general, but Elon and Trump and their orbiters don’t even care about directionally correct now. They’ve learned they can just lie and as long as the narrative sells it’s as good as the truth, and there’s zero consequence for it later being proven to be a clear lie.
