I just love French people so much.
At the Toulouse airport, just watched a woman try to order oat milk in English for her coffee. Barista kept hearing “hot milk.” Emotions escalated to the point where I had to intervene and explain what oat milk was, and this French man was absolutely pissed to learn it exists

This is a good explanation of why S&S’s response to that book came after the fact—they have zero oversight over their distribution clients. I hope they are currently reevaluating whether they want to continue distributing this publisher at all.
