I’m on the faculty job market!.The ZZ Lab will combine Theoretical Chem (QM + Stat Mech) and AI/ML to explore the chemical space of functional materials and molecules for energy technologies and sustainable catalysis, with a brave emphasis on the realistic complexities!

It is my 1st corresponding-authored paper and 7th paper with a xkcd-style TOC graphic. I wrote it during this summer which was partly spent in Hawaii, and I felt that chemical space exploration resembles surfing a lot -- the story behind this comic :-).

Back to Kaifeng, the sheer mass of sharebikes on the weekend has lead to oceans of bikes parked all over Kaifeng. Many people took regional rail, buses, slugged taxis back to Zhengzhou or directly headed home on High Speed Rail from Kaifeng leading to complaints. Not my pics.

My feeling about the overuse of “ensemble” recently….
Is it just me or are others also bothered by the excessive use of the word "cluster"? I can't seem to get away from it (especially in comp chem) 🥲.
