We had ANA on our COP. It was ours, so I never saw any of that boy stuff. I did, however, see the ANA guys walk around hand in hand all day, like schoolkids in love.
I didn’t expect my post about US military leadership covering up the rampant sexual abuse and enslavement of young boys in Afghanistan to go viral. This is common knowledge among guys that served there. Every single PB (Patrol Base) we handed over to the Afghani Police and ANAs.

Being a man means doing everything you can to impress women while suimultaneously doing everything you can to irritate women.
Women are, understandably I think, upset by this - they’ll say “You criticize us when we get a lot plastic surgery to look young and when we age naturally. What can we do?”, and the answer is nothing. There is nothing you can do. Walk into the wilderness on your 35th birthday.

IIRC my skin got worse for a bit and then mostly cleared up. I still get pimples, but not bigly. Never heard it did permanent damage until reading this thread. Shrug.
