1/4 of hip and knee replacements are not done in the medically-recommended timeframe. And that’s getting worse, not better.

NEW data on surgical wait times shows that Ontario was best in Canada in 2022 for hip & knee replacements (and has been so for most of the past decade). Story from @LaurenPelley, data from @CIHI_ICIS https://t.co/K0Ia7vRzrD

Prediction: Hard no. There will be lots of "largest! ever! investments!" (cuz inflation) and "1.5 million new homes" (not said: that'll also be the price) and "making life more affordable" (just not true).

Premier Doug Ford’s government is making a big mistake in moving more surgeries to for-profit providers, instead of creating new community surgery centres overseen by public hospitals

Today, Doug Ford and Sylvia Jones missed an opportunity to prove themselves capable of managing our healthcare system. Instead of tackling the intricacies of publicly funding surgical and diagnostic centres, they ignored them. Here’s what I wish they said. #onhealth #onpoli

I mentor a young lad with poor literacy skills who is starting a landscaping business. He struggles to communicate with clients in a professional manner. I created a GPT3-powered Gmail account to which he sends a message. It responds with the text to send to the client.

Look, I'm pretty skeptical of "Canada is so much better than America" content, but this tweet is absolutely correct. Voter conditions in some (cough) neighbourhoods there are just absolutely ridiculous. https://t.co/0TIt7rxqe8
