I have a new project that I'm hoping to "launch" soon. And I've been feeling really guilty lately for not being super focused on just my main project. But then my wife just reminded me that. I'm a tinkerer, and I'm learning new tools. This is part of the process.

I'm having a hard time reconciling that I can't actually send SMS messages to my own phone while in trial mode using @twilio. Like I understand the need for regulation and quality control, but this seems a bit too nickel and dimey when I just want to send to myself.

Also: “Toll-free numbers are designated for medium/large business messaging and are not meant to be used for hobbyist developers.”. So. nope. Can't do it. SOL.

And unfortunately: Upon receipt of your submission, Twilio reviews and processes your verification request. Please allow approximately 3-5 business days for this process. So you can't actually test sending SMS (even via their virtual phone tool) to your own number? How?!.

Can't get over how utterly useless Cursor w/ Claude 4 Sonnet on the Pro plan has become this past week with their new rate limiting. I get that they were probably hemorrhaging money before, but still. .

Welp. It finally happened. I'm regularly hitting my cursor limits. Unfortunately, it's unclear what those are these days, so I'm seeking some clarity before deciding if I upgrade (to a monthly plan) or enable usage. It was a good run, but allowed me to really dial in my usage.

Is it just me, or is Claude 4 Sonnet in Cursor REALLY struggling today? Forgetting dates, rules, and even project setups. Getting lost and going in completely different directions. What is going on? Did anthropic curb 4 Sonnet thinking?.

Today was a weird day. In one desktop, I had cursor + claude working through their tasks that I'd bounce over and unblock them (thanks to @ryancarson's ai-dev-tasks cursor rules). In another, I had cursor + claude helping me tackle a lovable + supabase react integration.
