Windows has had a dark mode since Windows 10 Version 1511, released November 2015.
To this day, it is still incomplete. Even in Windows 11, there are elements of the OS that do not adhere to dark mode.
I hope Microsoft finally finishes it with Windows 12 lol

Windows Phone was never a good UI. People at the time claimed that iOS’s heavy visual effects and skeuomorphism got in the way of actual usability, but this is FAR less usable.
Visually overwhelming, impossible to scan and downright unfriendly.

This take is wild. You are only less secure on iPhone in the EU if you choose to be. You are not being forced to venture out into the wild west to acquire apps.
Literally nothing changes if you don't want it to. Stay within Apple's walled garden all you like. It's that easy.
What the EU is doing to iPhone is making me sad. My heart breaks for engineers and others at Apple being forced to make their product bad and undermine a brand promise they worked so hard to build.
