5-6 years ago I was working on similar project and it was the whole startup idea with a reasonable software behind. Today runs on browsers. Google still have similar but extended idea as Google Beam.
Head-tracked “Window Mode.” Your front camera finds your head. The view reprojects in real time so the screen feels like a window into the 3D scene. True3D, no glasses.

Developers who started in the last 10 years often think front-end libraries are the only way to build apps. They're not. There was a simple time with no “build”, just FTP and HTML. Try #htmx. Sustain simplicity.

I have been trying out the AI features in @pycharm and @cursor_ai. Surprisingly, Cursor gives slightly better results even though both use Claude 4 Sonnet under the hood. That said, I still prefer PyCharm’s interface and overall IDE experience.

It only takes a couple of people to break a norm and all of a sudden life is less good for everyone else, forever.
Apparently this awful security queue for the National Gallery is now permanent. I used to just walk up the steps and in. Just Stop Oil madness means this is just the future we are a living in. Wonders of no longer living in a high trust society.

We've seen how far companies will go to abuse legal loopholes in their services' ToS, case in point: Disney

Disney said it “strive[s] to put humanity above all other considerations.”…

totally agree.
The Godfather of AI is at #VivaTech! Yann LeCun (@ylecun) advises students coming into the industry: "Don't work on LLM. This is in the hands of large companies, there's nothing you can bring to the table. You should work on next-gen AI systems that lift the limitations of LLMs.

If @apple announces half of their may 7 #AppleEvent footage created by their "secret" gen ai, I will not be shocked.

Many scientific manual image analysis processes can now be automated using just 3-5 source images, combined with meaningful data augmentation and #SyntheticData generation. This is largely thanks to controlled environment imagery.
