It’s funny how Meta has burned it’s human capital to the ground that they can’t compete anymore. It used to be a place for great ownership, less bureaucracy and good rewards. Now, it’s the place for burnouts and layoffs.

It helps tell me a story that my co-workers, friends and others find interesting. I became good friends with a Director at work, found friends at random events. It keeps on giving.

One big advantage of doing interesting and challenging things is that it attracts people who have similar interests and goals. For instance: I climbed Mount Rainier because I was interested and audacious enough that I didn’t believe I could do it.

I believe this is one of the promising ways to improve health care with AI today. Our system builds on the capabilities of foundation models and would improve with them!
