@drdagly YES it’s a HUGE problem. I have been seeing infectious complications in alcoholic hepatitis and cirrhosis patients a LOT lately and our liver specialist colleagues are literally run off their feet- getting calls from all over the province. All patients shocked they’re so sick.

Effective this week Organ donation will shut down in SK due to the pressure on ICU and redeployment of staff. It simply means that those who pass away and generously want to donate their organs will not able to. It will also means that no one will be able to receive one. Tragic.
