People seem to think that the M5 is supposed to be a track car, it's not, especially not the non-CS variants, it's supposed to be a cruiser that happens to have some speed New hybrid model does that better than ever before, surprisingly compliant, very well set up, & still a v8

people have been saying (n-1) bmw is the best bmw since the dawn of time and it isn't going to stop now m division did record sales and the brand is doing significantly better than their competitors, for what it's worth I like the new M5 as well, only as a touring though

Fp's ability to stay relatively niche all these years is both its best & worst asset ocaml is simultaneously languishing & flourishing relative to say typescript just pick your perspective and what you value

Maybe making people care about haskell isn't the goal, gatekeeping to curiosity, there is a reason it is still such a high quality ecosystem after all these years. certainly not the most extensive or welcoming, but you either love the language or you don't, which is neat
This is actually a beautiful example of why nobody cares about Haskell The packaging for those videos is some of the worst I’ve ever seen. If you expect people to randomly click on those, you don’t know anything about how humans work.

in-ear/head audio products are always interesting because the bom cost is (relatively) low, r&d expensive is quite high, & you can mildly compensate for worse drivers w/ better signal processing and so bigger tech ends up competing quite well against the smaller chinese brands

People really don't give enough credit to valve for their audio. Their work on the index is still top class and arguably still best on the market. I'd no doubt buy a set of valve headphones Meta did a fantastic job with their glasses as well, I love companies that print money
Are these the speakers in the Deckard? Seems that Tectonic has developed a slimmer, lighter version of their off-ear BMR drivers that were used in the Valve Index.

to be clear I don't genuinely have much ill-will towards the ffmpeg admin. can't please everyone at an account of that size could be a little more accurate, little more nuance, but their job is to grab attention and grab headlines & they do it well enough ragebait is in vogue..

my diet of pure nesquick chocolate milk combined with climbing so badly its cardio is still unbeaten
my latest investigation for @ConsumerReports is based on months of reporting and 60+ lab tests of leading protein supplements we found that most protein powders and shakes have more lead in one serving than our experts say is safe to have in a day — some by more than 10 times !

I don't think this is that insane when replacement index controllers were $280, w/o the base stations and quest pro controllers were what like $150 each?
I had to recheck this pricing 5 times before I was confident enough to post this tweet. I know the Apple Store is all about premium but, come on, $250 for the controllers?
