Even the piddlier stuff has been producing photogenic shelf clouds this afternoon. First two pics were near Chippenham and Iron Bridge in Chesterfield around 430, third and fourth are from eastern Lunenburg at 530. #vawx @NWSWakefieldVA

I wish @VSPPIO had an app that you could use talk-to-text to report license plates of illegal left lane riders/hogs. Backing up the left lane of I-95 because they refuse to speed up to pass is such a pandemic here in Virginia. After 3 reports to the plate, they get a citation.

We've received many questions/reports about 'dirty rain' this evening leaving a coating on cars, etc. As can be seen in the attached satellite images, dust from the southwest has been transported into the area today, which has been brought down with falling precipitation.
