Imaginary deficit cutting (nevermind balancing the budget) in 6 years (without a CBO score, to boot) isn't real. Raising the deficit now is real. When the debt bomb goes off, this will be one of the reasons why.

A basic rule:. - In the government, unless the law allows it, you can't do it. - Outside government (for citizens/companies), unless there's a law disallowing it, you can do it. Our system constrains government and defaults to freedom for everyone else. That's healthy.
