Yesterday was the runoff for the last race to set up our 2 statewide special elections we will be having in Georgia in November. Peter Hubbard secured the Democratic nomination for Public Service Commission District 3. He will face Republican incumbent Fitz Johnson.

Here is the link for the results from today’s Special Democratic Primary Runoff today. It should start populating with results some time after 7pm.

Here is one we hadn’t seen before. Dougherty Co. notified us they are getting a court order to stay open 4 minutes. There was someone running from the cops who got in the vicinity and they stopped voting at Precinct 14, Albany High School Band Room, for 4 minutes.

The court order has come through and this polling location in Henry County will be open until 8pm.

Throughout Georgia, we only had one polling location open late today. It was in Henry County, Precinct 50 - Community Bible. They have gone to Superior Court for an extension but haven’t received it as yet.

Tomorrow is Election Day in the Statewide Democratic Runoff of PSC. Because of the low turnout in the 1st round, 76 counties have consolidated to a single polling location tomorrow. You can go to this page on @GaSecofState Raffensperger’s website for details.
