Lidl didn't take the legal steps to prevent the sexual harassment of a teenager working for the store. The consequences - an action plan. The same action plan that failed hundreds of McDonalds workers. #EndNotDefend https://t.co/OPQNGPFnPc

The government believes workplace sexual harassment should be dealt with by the police. Cases reported to the police represent 0.000007% of all cases - and is it any wonder when confidence is so low.

This is a game of bingo you don’t want to play. These are phrases survivors hear when reporting sexual harassment at work; excuses that protect power not people. Myths silence individuals and preserve unsafe systems. Let’s stop playing ITF bullshit bingo. #BreakTheSilence #metoo

Recent findings show sexual abuse widespread in the Army, with hundreds of women coming forward. Power and fear keep victims silent. The Army assesses risk every day - it must do the same to stop abuse within its own ranks. #EndNotDefend https://t.co/ThINKF8FHj

If the HSE had treated sexual exploitation and harassment as workplace hazards, the grooming gang scandals could have been exposed years earlier. Instead, survivors were failed twice — first by institutions, then by regulators who said “not our job.” https://t.co/xZKw23KrBO

Women are being silenced - first with NDAs, now with private hearings in Employment Tribunals where they're rarely allowed. This is not normal procedure. This is deeply concerning. We need transparency, not closed doors. #EndNotDefend https://t.co/9wWIwwlXdy

Of 9.8M people sexually harassed at work annually - mostly women- only 7 incidents were recorded by the police. With so much contempt from police forces, women will never be safe. The Government can’t keep insisting the police are left to handle gendered workplace violence.

This type of corporate cover-up can't be allowed to happen to women at work anymore. The government must act, and when 1 in 3 workers every year are sexually harassed, employers have to assume it's happening in their workplaces too.
